The Challenge

A $1 billion telecom operator, pressured by rapid growth to transform itself from into a modern telecom business, needed to prioritize and execute its most critical business process improvements.

The Solution

The Telecom Expert led a comprehensive business process review, defining and benchmarking performance of key business processes and evaluating their potential for rapid improvement. This prioritization was accompanied by the development of an efficient and effective process improvement methodology.

The Results

A dramatic improvement in installation efficiency was planned, piloted and implemented, reducing intervals from months to a few business days and improving the quality of the customer contact to become a sales opportunity for additional services.

A warehouse consolidation project was accelerated and completed, implementing a state of the art facility, closing dozens of unneeded facilities, dramatically reducing both the delivery time and the inventory of key stock items.

"Quick win" items across almost all business processes were identified, tracked and implemented.

An effective methodology for ongoing prioritization and implementation of process improvements was developed and woven into operation of the company.
